ESPRIT has many exclusive features specifically designed for sheet metal applications. The system can import a wireframe model of a part and quickly unfold that part, adding bend allowances as needed.

Other capabilities contained in ESPRIT's sheet metal module include automatic tool selection, punch sequence optimization, clamp repositioning and nesting capabilities.

ESPRIT can run a variety of punch press and other types of machine tools such as plasma, laser, flame cutters, and can easily write a single NC program for combination machines, such as plasma/punch or laser/punch.
